1. Who can use animaLinked

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, so keep your password secure and let us know if you think someone else has access to it.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, posts, profiles, and other content you submit ("your content"). By posting it, you give animaLinked a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share your content as part of operating the Service (for example, showing your posts to your connections).

You're responsible for what you post. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights (including copyright) or the law.

3. Acceptable use

When using animaLinked, you agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonate another person, animal, or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Post false or misleading information about an animal's health, lineage, or ownership.
• Use the Service to spam, scrape, or solicit other users for unrelated commercial purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, or access it in unauthorized ways.

4. Animal profiles, ownership, and lineage information

Animal profiles, ownership records, co-ownership, and lineage (sire/dam) information on animaLinked are entered by users and are not verified against any official registry. animaLinked doesn't guarantee the accuracy of this information and isn't a substitute for official pedigree, registration, or ownership records.

5. Not veterinary advice

Care logs, posts, comments, and messages on animaLinked — including anything shared by a business or professional connected to an animal — are for record-keeping and general information only. They are not veterinary, medical, or professional advice, and shouldn't replace consulting a licensed veterinarian.

6. Business pages and reviews

Reviews and ratings of businesses on animaLinked are the opinions of the individual users who post them, not of animaLinked. We don't verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy of reviews or business listings.

7. Reporting content and copyright complaints

If you see content that violates these Terms, you can report it directly from the post or review. If you believe something on animaLinked infringes your copyright, contact us at support@animalinked.com with a description of the content and your ownership of it, and we'll review it.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. animaLinked is an early-stage product — you may encounter bugs or rough edges. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, animaLinked and its founders won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for content posted by other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as animaLinked grows. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
